We would like to take a moment to take you on a brief tour of our office and provide you information we hope you will find informative about the office, our philosophies, our staff and our doctors. 

Dr. Robert (Bob) Conrad has been involved in dentistry since 1987 when he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch Houston in 1987. He then completed his general practice residency at Olen E. Teague Veterans Affairs Hospital Temple, Texas where he continued his training in hospital based dentistry and advanced surgical and dental restorative procedures.  With a love of advanced Prosthodontic procedures (crown and bridge dentistry and dental implant procedures) he then continued his training at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Houston, Texas where he received his Speciality training in prosthodontics in 1990.  Since then he has maintained a full time private practice that has been widely recognized as an example of technology and innovation as he was one of the first prosthodontists in the United States, to utilize CAD/CAM technologies in private practice and was the first prosthodontist to become an International Society of Computerized Dentistry Trainer here in the US.

It has been my goal since the day I entered private practice to provide the best dental care possible to my patients using state of the art techniques, materials and equipment never cutting corners or compromising in quality.  With this goal in mind I have continued to stay on the cutting edge of technology by being the first Prosthodontic office in the United States to introduce the CEREC CAD/CAM system to allow our office to fabricate dental restorations in a single visit with the finest dental ceramics available to our profession.  Then we were the first in Houston to introduce the Galileos 3D radiographic imaging system, allowing us to obtain a 3D radiographic examination of our patients in only 14 seconds. With our practice being highly motivated in the areas of preventative care we utilize many early detection systems like the Kavo laser caries detection system and the Velscope cancer screening system to allow us to detect even mild changes in oral tissues before problems can begin, many times detecting oral cancer before they can become invasive.
